The Moshal Scholarship Programme for 2026

In a world where education is the key to socioeconomic upliftment, the Moshal Scholarship Programme stands out—more than just a bursary, it’s a life-transforming pathway for motivated students from disadvantaged backgrounds. Born in 2009 through the vision of Martin Moshal and Yael Lavie, this South Africa-Israel initiative empowers promising achievers to transcend limitations through holistic support and in‑demand university degrees

A Holistic Scholarship, Not Just Funding

What sets Moshal apart is its wrap‑around model. Beyond full funding for tuition, accommodation, meals, and living expenses, the programme includes:

  • Dedicated Program Coordinators assigned at each partner university
  • Career guidance workshops, mock interviews, and employer networking
  • Professional mentorship and soft‑skills training
  • Academic and psycho‑social support, including English enhancement

This model ensures scholars don’t just enter university—they thrive, graduate, and launch impactful careers.
