- SALARY: R 325 200 – R687 918 per annum (OSD)
- GRADE 1: R 325 200 – R 382 374 per annum (OSD)
- Grade 2: R397 119- R 459 996 per annum (OSD)
- GRADE 3: R 477 564 – R 561 378 per annum (OSD)
- GRADE 4: R 585 441 • R 725 754 per annum (OSD)
REQUIREMENTS:
Grade I:
- Formal tertiary qualification in Social Work (eg Bachelor of Social Work) that allows professional registration with the SACSSR Registration with the SACSSR as a Social Worker
- No experience required.
Grade 2:
- Formal tertiary qualification in Social Work (eg Bachelor of Social Work) that allows professional registration with the SACSSR Registration with the SACSSR as a Social Worker
- A minimum of 10 years’ appropriate experience in social work after registration as a Social Work with the SACSSR
Grade 3:
- Formal tertiary qualification in Social Work (e.g. Bachelor of Social Work) that allows professional registration with the SACSSR Registration with the SACSSR as a Social Worker.
- A minimum of 20 years’ appropriate experience in social work after registration as a Social Work with the SACSSR
Grade 4:
- Formal tertiary qualification in Social Work (e.g. Bachelor of Social Work) that allows professional registration with the SACSSR Registration with the SACSSR as a Social Worker.
- A minimum of 30 years’ appropriate experience in social work after registration as a Social Work with the SACSSR

Applicants are only required to submit a Z83 form and a comprehensive CV Communication from the HR of the department regarding the requirements for certified documents will be limited to shortlisted candidates. Therefore, only shortlisted candidates for a post will be required to submit certified documents (copies of Qualification(s) inclusive of Matric certificate, Identity document. Proof of registration, proof of citizenship if not RSA citizen) on or before the day of the interview.
Applicants must note that further Personnel Suitability checks will be conducted on short-listed candidates and that their appointment is subject to the outcome of these checks which include security clearance, security vetting, qualification verification and criminal record checks.
