EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- The successful candidate should have a post-graduate business / financial degree, preferably in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, Science or Engineering; additional post graduate diplomas / qualifications in the field of risk management will be an advantage
- At least five to ten years’ working experience within an operational risk or compliance function in a bank and leading a team of risk professionals
Technical skills
- A strong understanding of financial and transactional banking products and the end to end operating processes surrounding these
- A strong understanding of the fundamentals of operational risk management
- Strong knowledge & understanding of how a bank operates
POST 2: MARKET RISK ANALYST

- Minimum Honours Degree in Mathematics, Quantitative Finance, Econometrics, Financial Risk Management, or related discipline
- Financial Risk Manager (FRM) Qualification, CFA, or Certificate in Quantitative Finance (CQF) advantageous
- Minimum 3 years similar working experience in market risk, model validation, quantitative analysis, or related area within a financial institution.
- Programming interest and ability (e.g., Python / Matlab / VBA) advantageous
POST 3: PROJECT ACCOUNTANT

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum Qualification – Chartered Accountant – CA(SA)
- Preferred Qualification – CIMA accreditation or are studying towards a CIMA
- Qualified CA(SA) is preferred
- Experience – At least 3 to 5 years experience in cost and management accounting
- Additional Knowledge – Knowledge of Management Reporting and Systems – Financial modelling, System analysis, Design and Implementation of Management Reports, SAP ERP systems (CO- Management Accounting) and basic understanding of the other SAP modules such as Finance and Material Management
- Knowledge of Management Evaluation Tools – Types of responsibility Accounting Centres (Revenue, cost, profit and investment), Responsibility accounting systems (controllability, performance reports, etc), Quarterly Scorecard inputs
- Knowledge of Budgeting and forecasting: The budget process, types of budgets (master budget, activity-based budgeting, zero based budgeting), Adjustments to Budgets using flexible budgeting, cash budgeting, variance analysis (price, volume, mix, spending, etc.), Forecasting of future results based on current information and assumptions
- Knowledge of Cost Management: Analysing and interpreting the nature of the cost, classification of cost (variable, fixed, etc.) Product costing understanding of the flow of cost within a manufacturing environment Service cost allocation, variable or direct vs absorption costing, cost of capacity
POST 4: INSTITUTIONAL SALES SPECIALIST

- 3 to 5 years broad understanding in cross-asset experience in a similar environment, of which 1 to 2 years ideally at junior (entry level) management level
