The City of Ekurhuleni invites suitably qualified applicants to apply for their Permanent General Assistant Vacancy in Road Signs and Markings Team. The closing date for applications is the 21st February 2024

POST: GENERAL ASSISTANT: ROAD SIGNS & MARKINGS TEAM

  • Remuneration: R171 972 to R235 896 Basic plus benefits

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Repair tar roads to ensure safe and passable roads
  • Mix slurry according to specifications
  • Sweep and clean gutters, streets and sidewalks to prevent blockage of storm water systems
  • Load, offload, clean and store equipment and tools to prevent damage and loss to Council property
  • Safeguard site by placing appropriate roads safety signs

 

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Grade 10
  • 1 year experience in similar environment
