Spar invites suitably qualified applicants to apply for their Permanent Merchandiser Vacancies (X4 Posts) at Superspar Midrand. The closing date for applications is the 17th February 2025
JOB PURPOSE:
The purpose of the Merchandiser is to order and merchandise products and interacts and advice customers in selling merchandise.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
- Count and order stock
- Replenish stock according to agreed layout
- Reduced stock damaged on the sales floor and receiving
- Build and maintain displays according to supervisor’s instructions
- Maintain stock in the stock room and ensure there is no loose stock or open cases
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:
- At least 2 years’ experience in retailing
- Matric / NOF level 4 equivalent
- Customer Service
- Hygiene and housekeeping
- Product knowledge is advantageous
- Communication skills
