The Innovation Hub Management Company SOC (Ltd) and ERGO (Pty) Ltd are offering training to unemployed youth who are interested in learning data innotation skills. The closing date for applications is the 13th February 2025
WHAT DOES THE PROGRAMME ENTAIL?
- Technical training in data labelling for images and text
- Soft skills training
- Mentoring and coaching
WHAT WILL I BENEFIT FROM THE PROGRAMME?
- Gain the ability to prioritise tasks
- Manage time effectively
- Critical thinking necessary to analyse complex data sets
- Make informed decisions
- Become more employable or start your own company
WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?
- In possession of a 3/4-year university qualification (minimum NQF Level 6)
- South African citizens between the ages of 18 and 34
- No prior internship experience
- Priority will be given to candidates from ERGO host communities in the following areas Ekurhuleni Southern and Eastern Areas, City of Johannesburg Region B, C, and D (Training will take place in Tsakane)
- Required qualifications are in the following fields of study: Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science
PROGRAM DETAILS AND SUPPORT:
The program will be held at the Tsakane Kasi Lab. All program-related costs will be fully covered under ERGO’s Social and Labour Plan LED Programme.
