Oudtshoorn Local Municipality invites suitably qualified applicants to apply for their Traffic Warden / Peace Officer Training for 2025. The closing date for applications is the 14th March 2025
This initiative is presented by the Greater Oudtshoorn Municipality, Law Enforcement division, in collaboration with the Department of Police Oversight and Community Safety in offering an opportunity to unemployed youth to be trained as Peace Officers / Traffic Wardens to enhance the Law Enforcement capacity within the local Municipal area. The Peace Officer / Traffic Warden training is an accredited 30-day course. The department will cover the cost of the training for 20 qualifying participants for the duration of the programme.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Matric / Grade 12
- Clear criminal record (SAPS) or Proof of application.
- Ages between 20-35 years old
- Unemployed
- Must reside in the Greater Oudtshoorn Municipal Area.
- Learner / Valid driver’s license
APPLICATIONS:
Applications must be on the official application form of the Oudtshoorn Municipality and a covering letter accompanied by a comprehensive curriculum vitae and certified copies of qualifications and identity document (not older than three (3) months) as well as particulars of at least three contactable references.
