African Global Skills Academy (AGSA) is seeking unemployed youth to be equipped with knowledge and skills required towards the below Skills Programmes, accredited by CATHSSETA. The closing date for applications is the 29th May 2024

POSTS: HOSPITALITY SKILLS PROGRAMME

• Province: Gauteng
• Stipend: R2 000.00 (based on successful attendance of all scheduled programme activities)
• Commencement Date: 3 June 2024

SKILLS PROGRAMMES:

• SP: Assistant Chef NQF Level 2 / Cook-Convenience Foods NQF Level 2 / Food Service Assistant NQF Level 2
• SP: Bar Attendant NQF Level 2 / Table Attendant NQF Level 2 / Drink Service Assistant NQF Level 2 / Fast Food/Counter / Assistant NQF Level 2
• SP: Assistant Housekeeper NQF Level 2 / Room Attendant NQF Level 2 / Laundry Assistant NQF Level 2
• SP: Hospitality Reception NQF Level 4
• SP: Generic Management NOF Level 2
• SP: Wholesale and Retail NQF Level 2
• SP: Early childhood development NQF Level 2

QUALIFYING CRITERIA:

• Applicants must be between the ages of 18 – 50.
• Unemployed South African citizen, residing in the following Gauteng Regions: Johannesburg,
• Pretoria and surrounding areas
• Updated Curriculum Vitae
• Certified ID Copy (Dated within 6 months on the day of application)
• Grade: 8 School Report to Grade: 12 (Dated within 6 months on the day of application)
• Application not meeting the required criteria, will not be considered.
