POSITION: CORPORATE COUNSEL – MEGA PROJECTS
REFERENCE NUMBER: R&S/CCMP/SAD/10
LOCATION: PRASA CORPORATE OFFICE
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (KPAs):
- Provide expert and strategic advice to management.
- Provide management support on the organisation’s CAPEX program.
- Promote good corporate governance and compliance.
- Management of stakeholder relationships.
- Support audit management.
KNOWLEDGE:
- PFMA, GRAP, National Treasury regulations, IFRS.
- SCM and human capital management practices.

SKILLS:
- Leadership and management
- Problem solving and decision making
- Professional and influential
- Communication and interpersonal
- Strategic thinking
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- LLM
- Articles from a reputable law firm or pupillage
- Admission as an attorney or Advocate of the High Court of South Africa
- Registration with Corporate Counsel Association of South Africa (CCASA)
ADDED ADVANTAGE
- Post graduate diploma in Law
- Have demonstrable experience as a commercial attorney with proven track record in Mega Projects and/or working in SOE’s.
EXPERIENCE
- 20 years’ experience at a senior level dealing with commercial transactions in a medium to large company/group
