JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum requirements:
- 5 Years’ experience in an accounting role of which 2 should be at the management level
- Project management Skills
- Knowledge of the National Government, Public Finance Management Act, National Treasury regulations and GRAP reporting standards,
Preferred
- 10 Years’ experience in an accounting role of which 5 should be at the management level
- Advanced project management Skills
- Advanced knowledge of the Higher Education Sector, National Government, Public Finance Management Act, National Treasury regulations and GRAP reporting standards,
POST 2: SENIOR MANAGER: LEGAL & COMPLIANCE
VACANCY NO: 14 of 2023/24
TYPE & GRADE: D4 PERMANENT
LOCATION: CAPE TOWN
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum requirements:
- NQF Level 8 LLB or equivalent qualification
- Admitted Attorney or Advocate
- Computer literacy – Intermediate MS Package Suite
- Driver’s License
- 10 years’ experience in the legal profession of which 5 Years’ experience should be at a management level
- Must demonstrate a multi-disciplinary legal experience across some or all of the following:
- Sound understanding of PAJA and its application and compliance thereto
- Contract drafting and management
- Sound understanding of government supply chain regulations and requirements
POST 3: SENIOR MANAGER – BRANDS & EVENTS MANAGEMENT
VACANCY NO: 15 of 2023/24
TYPE & GRADE: D2 – D3 PERMANENT
LOCATION: CAPE TOWN
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum requirements:
- NQF Level 6 in Communications, Marketing Public Relations, Branding and Digital Marketing Communications
- Computer literacy – Intermediate Microsoft Package
- Driver’s License
- At least 8 years plus proven experience in writing, editing, brand management, projects and campaigns and social media space
- At least 3 years proven management experience which includes dealing with budgets, business planning, employee management and development
- Proven track record as a marketing and brand manager or equivalent
- Experience in managing/leading a team and managing a creative team including designers, writers, etc.
- Evidence of managing/Supervising people
- Knowledge of PFMA and the public service
- Knowledge of Higher education and training and the political climate that dominates student politics
- Knowledge of a marketing and communications environment and processes
POST 4: SENIOR MANAGER: CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS
VACANCY NO: 16 of 2023/24
TYPE & GRADE: D2 – D3 PERMANENT
LOCATION: CAPE TOWN
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum requirements:
- National Diploma in Public Relations, Journalism or Communications
- At least 8 to 10 years in public relations, corporate communications, and desktop publishing.
- 5 years’ proven record in writing and editing.
- 5 years’ experience in the production of the corporate publication.
- 5 years’ experience in media management and engagement.
- At least three years’ management experience, which should include experience in dealing with budgets, business planning, staff development and staff management.
- Proven track record of being a public relations manager or equivalent.
- Understanding of the higher education landscape and the political climate that dominates student politics
