South West Gauteng TVET College Placement Programme for 2025

South West Gauteng TVET College Placement Programme for 2025

South West Gauteng TVET College (SWGC) continues to lead the way in empowering South African youth by bridging the gap between education and employability. In partnership with the Finance and Accounting Services Sector Education and Training Authority (FASSET) and the National Skills Fund (NSF), the college is calling on all eligible young people to apply for placement opportunities linked to the National Certificate Vocational (NCV) and NATED programmes.

These placements aim to provide valuable workplace exposure and experience, complementing theoretical learning with practical, on-the-job training. This initiative is part of South Africa’s broader strategy to reduce youth unemployment, enhance skills development, and build a talent pipeline aligned with industry needs.

About the Programmes: NCV and NATED

The NCV (National Certificate Vocational) programmes are designed for learners who have completed Grade 9 and are looking to acquire both academic and practical skills in a specific vocational field. These are full qualifications registered on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF), focusing on career-oriented education and training.
