POST 1: SENIOR ENGINEER: TELECOMMUNICATIONS
REFERENCE NUMBER: R&S/SMTM/SAM/240
JOB TYPE: PERMANENT
LOCATION: PRASA CORPORATE
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- 4 Years Electrical Engineering Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Engineering Computer Systems or equivalent
- Post Graduate Business Degree e.g. MBA will be added advantageous
- Project Management qualification
- Registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer or Professional Technologist
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 10 Years Railway Telecommunications
Experience Including:
- 5 Years Project Management (Working on Large projects i.e., minimum R300m)
- 3 Years Engineering Technical Management Experience
- 2 Years Exposure to Asset Management
- Planning and Engineering Experience within the Rail Industry would be advantageous
POST 2: SENIOR ENGINEER: SIGNALLING & TELECOMMUNICATIONS
REFERENCE NUMBER: R&S/SMST/SAD/241
JOB TYPE: PERMANENT
LOCATION: PRASA CORPORATE
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Sc Engineering
- Tech Electrical Engineering ( Electronics)
- Post graduate degree.
EXPERIENCE
- 8-10 Years’ experience as Independent Safety Assessor (ISA) in interlocking. system validation and safety audit to ensure Generic Safety Integrity Level 4 (SIL4).
- 3 years Systems Engineering Principles
- 4 years Exposure to Software Engineering and Testing
TECHNICAL/LEGAL CERTIFICATION
- Registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer or Professional Technologist
