PERMANENT YOUTH EMPLOYMENT SERVICE (YES) PROGRAMME AT SPAR CLOSING 23 FEBRUARY 2024

 

 

Spar invites suitably qualified applicants to apply for their Permanent Youth Employment Service (YES) Programme. The closing date for applications is the 23rd February 2024

CRITERIA:

• Must be a South African Citizen
• Must be 18 – 28 years old
• Currently unemployed and NOT studying full time
• Passed Matric and with the relevant Tertiary Qualification (Undergraduate Degree)
• Clear criminal record
• Should NOT have participated in YES previously.
• Be able to commit to the 12-month work program (1 April 2024– 31 March 2025)
• Interview and Verification Process

DEPARTMENTS:

We are looking for candidates with completed tertiary qualifications specified below:

Finance:

• Degree in Financial Management / Cost and Management Accounting

Marketing:

Degree in Retail Management / Business Management / Supply Chain Management (you will be in the field of buying, negotiating, promotions and stock planning. Strong financial acumen essential)

 

 

Information Technology:

• Degree in Project Management (focus on Computer Skills / Business Analytics / Retail Systems Specialist / Customer Liaison). Drivers Licence an advantage
• Specialised A ; N and MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) (Network Systems / Project Management / SAP and Training)

Warehouse / Logistics:

• Degree in Supply Chain Management
• Degree in Freight Logistics Management
• Degree in Road Transport Management
• Degree in Project Management
• Degree in Consumer Science: Food and Nutrition / Biochemistry
• Degree in Quality Control: Food Technology / Microbiology

Risk / Quality:

• Degree in Environmental Health
• Degree in Safety Management / Quality Assurance
