Northlink College invites suitably qualified applicants to apply for their Permanent Groundsman Vacancies (X3 Posts). The closing date for applications is the 30th April 2024

POSTS: GROUNDSMAN (X3 POSTS)

• Salary Range: R 125, 373 — R 145, 077 (SL2) Per Annum (Excluding Benefits)
• Post Ref: NLC/22/2024

CAMPUS:

• BELHAR CAMPUS

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 10.
• Minimum 1 — 2 years relevant experience in a general worker or related field.
• Valid Driver’s License (Recommendation)

DUTIES:

• Maintain premises and surroundings.
• Cleaning premises and surroundings.
• Empty dirt bins.
• Maintain the garden.
• Watering the garden.
• Prune and trim flowers and trees.
• Mow the grass.
• Remove weeds and garden refuse.
• Apply insecticides.
• Cultivate the soil for trees and flowers.
• Maintain gardening equipments and tools.
• Detect and report malfunctioning of gardening equipment and tools.
• Repair minor defects of gardening equipment and tools.
