Salary: R174 711 Grade 1-2
REQUIREMENTS:
- Qualifications: National Diploma/ Bachelor’s Degree in Child and Youth Care Development.
- Registration with the South African Council for Social Services as a Child and Youth Care Worker. Proof of current registration with the South African Council for Social Services as a Child and Youth Care Worker.
- Knowledge: Constitution of the Republic of South Africa, Public Service Act, Public Service Requlations, Batho-Pele Principles, Developmental programmes, Clerical administrative procedures, Knowledge of the rules and procedures of the center.
- Skills: -Communication, Problem solving, Interpersonal relations, Organizing, Counselling, Computer literacy, Numeracy, Language.
DUTIES:
- Receive children and youth to the care facility after admission
- Ensure that children’ youth receive medical services.
- Assist with the implementation of planned activities, developmental and therapeutical programmes.
- Engage in basic life space work to promote the development and care of children and youth.

- Relevant registration with professional body (where applicable).
- Certificates are required, however, if a certificate is only to be issued at the graduation in the future, the statement of results, together with a letter from the educational institution indicating the date of the graduation will be accepted.
