About Royal Bafokeng Holdings (RBH)

Royal Bafokeng Holdings (RBH) is a globally respected African investment company owned by the Royal Bafokeng Nation Development Trust (RBNDT). RBH manages and grows the financial assets of the Royal Bafokeng Nation (RBN), a progressive and traditional community made up of 29 villages in the Rustenburg Valley.

RBH is widely known for:

  • Long-term and responsible investment strategies
  • Strong commitment to community development
  • Empowering Bafokeng youth through education
  • Creating pathways for young people to take part in South Africa’s economic growth

Through this bursary, RBH invests directly into the future leadership of the community by supporting students who want to qualify as Chartered Accountants—professionals who play a key role in finance, business oversight, and national economic management.

Why This Bursary Matters

Qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) is one of the most respected and financially rewarding careers today. South Africa—and the world—needs more CAs because they play a critical role in:

  • Auditing
  • Financial management
  • Corporate leadership
  • Governance and ethics
  • Investment and economic planning

But studying toward a CA qualification is demanding and expensive. Many young people who have the talent simply cannot afford:

  • Tuition fees
  • Accommodation
  • Learning materials
  • Transport
  • Required computer equipment

RBH’s bursary breaks these barriers for young people from the Royal Bafokeng Nation, offering them a fair and empowering chance to pursue a world-class profession.

What the RBH CA Bursary Offers

The bursary is designed to remove the financial pressure that often stops talented young people from completing their studies. While the advert doesn’t list exact values, the bursary typically covers:

  • Full tertiary registration and tuition fees
  • Accommodation and meal costs (or a private living allowance)
  • Book allowance
  • Personal allowance
  • Once-off computer allowance
  • Academic support and tracking
  • Industry exposure where available

This level of support ensures that learners focus on what matters—passing, excelling, and building a professional foundation.
