Participants are placed in various departments within Old Mutual Insure to gain insight into the operations of one of South Africa’s most trusted insurers.
Upon successful completion, learners receive a recognised qualification, typically a Further Education and Training Certificate (FETC) in Short-Term Insurance (NQF Level 4), which enhances employability in the insurance and broader financial services sector.
Who Can Apply?
The programme is targeted at unemployed South African youth who meet the following requirements:
- A Grade 12 (Matric) certificate with Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy and English (at least 50%)
- Age between 18 and 35 years
- No prior participation in a learnership programme
- South African citizenship with a valid ID
- Clear credit and criminal record
- A passion for customer service and financial services
- Must have English as a Language
