POSTS: ELECTRICIAN X2
- Duration: 2-Year Contract
- Salary: R31 141.53 Basic p/m
- Reference Code: MAIN_ELEC
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
- To perform electrical maintenance and repairs on ERWAT wastewater and water treatment equipment. Develop SOP’s and revise when necessary.
- Perform electrical maintenance on all ERWAT sites.
- Create and load job cards and execute work orders according to planned maintenance schedules.
- Assist the mechanical artisans by connecting and disconnecting electrical equipment to allow for maintenance on mechanical equipment.
- Co-ordinate with administration and other trades for completing projects/work orders efficiently.
- Responds to breakdowns and emergencies as needed and/or assigned for resolving immediate safety concerns.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Electrical trade test
- Code EB Driver’s License
- Minimum 5 years working experience as an Electrician preferably in wastewater and water treatment industry
- Demonstrate ability to work independently and lead others
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical equipment
