APPLICATIONS ARE INVITED FROM SUITABLY QUALIFIED AND EXPERIENCED CANDIDATES TO APPLY THE FOLLOWING VACANT POSITIONS:
POSITION: ASSET CONTROLLER X4
REFERENCE NUMBER: R&S/GMFMAR/GF/00
LOCATION: PRASA CORPORATE OFFICE
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (KPAs):
- Conduct physical verification of assets.
- Coordinate asset management and control services.
- Maintenance of the Fixed Asset register.
- Reporting and reconciliation.
KNOWLEDGE:
- Accounting standards and relevant legislative frameworks (acquisition of assets, disposal of assets etc.).
- GRAP understanding and application.
- PFMA and VAT act,
- Computer literate in Windows 97, MS Excel and MS Word
SKILLS:
- Communication
- Analytical
- Interpersonal
- Problem Solving
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Grade 12
- National Diploma in Accounting/ Financial Accounting or equivalent finance qualification.
- Valid Driver’s License.
EXPERIENCE
- 3 years’ Finance experience with at least 1-2 years’ experience in asset/WIP management.
