Special Investigating Unit (SIU) invites suitably qualified applicants to apply for their various Internship Positions. The closing date for all applications is the 15th January 2024

INTERNSHIP POSITIONS:

  • INTERN – MARKET DATA ANALYTICS X1 (2 YEARS) – GAUTENG, SOUTH AFRICA
  • INTERN – FORENSIC CYBER / DIGITAL ANALYTICS X2 (2 YEARS) – GAUTENG, SOUTH AFRICA
  • INTERN – FORENSIC DATA ANALYTICS X2 (2 YEARS) – GAUTENG, SOUTH AFRICA
  • INTERN – PREVENTION, ADVISORY AND AWARENESS X2 (2 YEARS) – GAUTENG, SOUTH AFRICA
  • INTERN – RESEARCHER X2 (2 YEARS) – GAUTENG, SOUTH AFRICA
  • INTERN – CASE ASSESSMENT X2 (2 YEARS) – GAUTENG, SOUTH AFRICA
  • INTERN – INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY (ICT) X3 (2 YEARS) – GAUTENG, SOUTH AFRICA
  • INTERN – INTERNAL AUDIT X2 (2 YEARS) – GAUTENG, SOUTH AFRICA
  • INTERN – FORENSIC ACCOUNTING X8 (2 YEARS) – GAUTENG, SOUTH AFRICA

PLEASE NOTE:

  • The SIU internship programme is targeted for the youth ages 18 – 35.
  • Candidates must not be currently participating on another internship programme or have previously participated on an internship programme.
  • Candidates must be unemployed.
  • Candidates must be South African citizens.
  • People with disabilities and women are encouraged to apply.
  • The appointment of candidates will be at the Unit’s sole discretion and the Unit reserves the right not to make an appointment.
  • All shortlisted applicants will be required to complete the SIU application form.
  • The SIU is an Anti-Corruption Investigating Unit and requires applicants to make a full and frank disclosure in their application form.

 

 

  • Correspondence will be limited to shortlisted candidates only. Please be advised that applications received means that processing may take some time. Candidates who have not been contacted within three (3) months of the closing date should consider their applications unsuccessful.
  • Fraudulent qualifications or documentations will automatically disqualify candidates.
  • All candidates will be subjected to integrity screening procedures and a favourable end report is essential.

  • The salary / stipend offered will be in line with SIU approved salary scales, which may change subject to relevant approvals and annual increases.
  • SIU will not pay for any relocation costs incurred by successful incumbent.
