What is USAASA?
USAASA is a public entity under the Department of Communications and Digital Technologies. Its core mandate is to ensure universal access to Information and Communication Technology (ICT) services across underserved and remote areas in South Africa. Through its efforts, USAASA supports inclusive digital development, helping communities gain better access to the internet, technology, and communication tools.
What the Internship Offers
The USAASA Internship Programme is typically a 12-month structured training initiative aimed at graduates who hold qualifications in various fields. Interns receive on-the-job training, mentorship, and practical exposure aligned to their areas of study.

WHO CAN APPLY?
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be South African citizens
- Be between the ages of 18 and 35
- Have completed a National Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent qualification
- Have no prior work experience in the field of application (internships are for first-time job seekers)
