Tshwane South TVET College & FASSET Internship Programme 2025/2026

Young South Africans who are eager to gain practical workplace experience now have an exciting opportunity to kick-start their careers! Tshwane South TVET College, in partnership with the Finance and Accounting Services Sector Education and Training Authority (FASSET), is offering 12-month internship opportunities across key fields of study. This initiative is designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world work exposure, preparing students for success in the job market.

Internship Programmes Available

Internships are available in the following specialised areas:

  • Financial Management N6
  • Management Assistants N6

These programmes not only provide workplace exposure but also ensure that candidates enhance their employability while contributing meaningfully in their chosen career paths.

Who Can Apply?

To qualify for these internships, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Grade 12 Certificate – A completed Senior Certificate/Matric qualification.
  • N6 Certificate – Relevant qualification in one of the fields mentioned above.
  • Letter from College – An official placement letter confirming the applicant’s need for internship placement.
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV) – Applicants must submit a proper CV (not the simplified “app CV”) outlining their skills, qualifications, and experience.
  • Certified Qualifications – All documents submitted must be certified, and certification must not be older than six (6) months.

These requirements are crucial for ensuring that applicants are prepared for workplace learning while meeting FASSET’s professional standards.

Why Apply for This Internship?

The internship offers more than just a stepping stone—it provides real workplace integration. Participants will:

  • Gain hands-on practical experience in their field of study.
  • Develop soft skills and workplace readiness through daily exposure to professional environments.
  • Enhance their employment prospects, as work experience is often a key requirement for full-time jobs.
  • Build valuable industry networks, opening doors for future opportunities.

Important Notes for Applicants

  • Applicants must ensure their documents are complete before submission. Missing documents can disqualify an application.
  • Certification of documents must be recent—older than six months will not be accepted.
  • The CV submitted should be professional and detailed to showcase one’s strengths and potential.

How to Apply

Applications should be hand delivered to all campuses SSS Offices or Head Office security.
