Based in Johannesburg East Rand, this 12-month programme provides a National Certificate in Freight Handling, equipping learners with the necessary knowledge and hands-on experience to thrive in the logistics and transport sector.
The Academy has established itself as a skills development hub, offering specialised training in Freight Handling and Professional Driving not only to staff but also to unemployed learners. Training is available in Johannesburg, Durban, and Cape Town, with additional support for customers across South Africa.
What the Programme Offers

- Loading and off-loading goods from vehicles
- Preparing vehicles for trips
- Receiving, dispatching, and handling freight documentation

- Ensuring safe stacking and securing of goods
- Maintaining a clean and safe workspace (general housekeeping)

- Duration: 12 months (Full-time Learnership)

Minimum Requirement
To qualify for this learnership, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Be a South African citizen aged 23 – 35 years
- Hold a Grade 12 / TVET N3 / NQF Level 2 qualification (with at least 40% in Maths and English)
- Medically fit and able to read, write, and communicate in English
- Numerically orientated and willing to work weekends and shifts
- Must have a clear criminal record
- Must reside in one of the following areas: Germiston, Alberton, Boksburg, Johannesburg
- Working hours: 08h00 – 18h00
