This initiative not only empowers learners with practical, hands-on skills but also awards them with a nationally recognised qualification in the freight and logistics sector.

WHAT IS THE FREIGHT HANDLING LEARNERSHIP PROGRAMME?

The National Certificate: Freight Handling (NQF Level 3) learnership is a structured programme that combines theoretical training with practical workplace experience. Over a period of 12 months, learners will be immersed in various aspects of freight logistics — from warehouse safety, equipment operation, to inventory management and dispatch.

The programme is fully accredited by the Transport Education Training Authority (TETA) and aligns with the requirements set by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA), making it a valuable stepping-stone into a lifelong career in the logistics field.

 

 

WHO SHOULD APPLY?

This opportunity is ideal for:

  • South African citizens aged 18–35
  • Matriculants with a keen interest in warehousing and logistics
  • Unemployed youth seeking work experience and formal qualifications
  • Individuals with a good work ethic, team spirit, and willingness to learn

Previous experience is not required, but candidates must demonstrate a commitment to completing the full 12-month programme.
