What is the Rand Water Graduate Development Programme?
The Rand Water Graduate Development Programme is a structured, work-based initiative targeting young South African graduates. The programme aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and workplace experience, giving graduates hands-on exposure in a professional environment while contributing to Rand Water’s mandate of delivering bulk potable water to municipalities and industries.
This programme runs for 24 months, depending on the field of study and Rand Water’s operational needs. Graduates are placed in relevant departments where they can apply their theoretical knowledge, acquire technical and soft skills, and gain industry-specific expertise.

- South African citizens.
- Previously disadvantaged individuals (ACI)

- Applicants must be under the age of 35
- The applicant must have not been on a graduate or internship programme prior to applying
