What Will You Actually Be Doing?
This internship focuses on provincial operations and front-office administration, but it goes far beyond answering phones.
Reception & Front-Office Responsibilities
You will:
- Uphold the professional image of Services SETA
- Welcome visitors and manage the reception area
- Offer refreshments and assist walk-in clients
- Manage waiting times and visitor flow
- Keep the reception clean, organised, and professional
- Report and follow up on maintenance issues
These tasks build customer service confidence and professional conduct.
Communication & Call Management
You will:
- Answer incoming calls efficiently and professionally
- Route calls to the correct departments
- Manage callers on hold and provide updates
- Screen calls and assist with basic queries
- Take accurate messages and ensure timely delivery
These skills are essential in any administrative or corporate role.
Office Administration Support
You will also handle:
- Photocopying and scanning documents
- Filing and document control
- Typing and formatting documents
- Binding reports
- Receiving and dispatching courier packages
