The Department of Justice and Constitutional Development (DOJ&CD) has announced 35 Administration Clerk vacancies under the Presidential Youth Employment Initiative (PYEI). This programme offers unemployed South African youth the chance to gain valuable work experience while contributing to efficient service delivery in the justice sector.
About the Programme
The PYEI is a government-led initiative aimed at tackling youth unemployment by creating temporary work opportunities within various state departments. The DOJ&CD, a key custodian of justice and constitutional rights in South Africa, is recruiting dedicated young individuals to join its team as Administration Clerks.
These posts will provide structured work exposure in administrative functions, helping participants enhance their skills in office management, record-keeping, and customer service. Successful candidates will work closely with experienced officials, learning how to maintain essential court and departmental records, process legal documentation, and assist with public enquiries.

- Grade12 or equivalent qualification.

DUTIES :
Key Performance Areas:
- Render clerical support services;
- Provide supply chain clerical support services within the component;
- Provide personnel administration support within the component;
- Provide financial administration support services in the component;
- Provide various administrative duties.
