What Ward-Based HIV Educators Actually Do

This role combines community outreach, education, reporting, and support coordination responsibilities.

Successful candidates will help:

Build AIDS-Competent Communities

You will support awareness programmes that help residents:

  • understand HIV prevention strategies
  • reduce stigma around testing
  • access treatment services
  • support affected families

Promote Treatment Compliance

Educators assist individuals receiving:

  • TB treatment
  • Antiretroviral Therapy (ART)

to improve adherence and reduce treatment interruption risks.

Support HIV Prevention Education

You will help implement education campaigns covering:
