JOHANNESBURG SOUTH DISTRICT (D11) INVIGILATOR APPLICATIONS

 

 

The Johannesburg South District (D11) is inviting suitable applicants to apply for temporary invigilator positions. There’s a total of 200 invigilators needed by the District.

POST NO: JS 2021 INV

Requirements: Grade 12, tertiary qualification and invigilation experience will be an added advantage. Good command of written and spoken English, sound oral and written communication skills, a thorough working knowledge of exam procedures.

Duties: Ensure that every candidate produces his or her admission fetter, as well as proof of identity. Ensure that candidates are seated at least 1 hour before the commencement of exam session. Should move around the examination room constantly and vigilantly, but without disturbing candidates. Refer candidates contravening the rules and regulations of the examination to the chief invigilator without delay, Perform all duties delegated by the chief invigllator. Must be present at examination centres for the entire duration of every examination session. Issuing out of all examination related materials i.e. Question papers, Answer books. Verify the correctness of the information of candidates as they enter the examination room. e.g. ID copy and timetable. Assist candidates to seat as per the seating plan. Maintain high standard of invigilation.

All applications must be handed in at the Johannesburg South District,100 Northern Parkway Ground Floor Block C Ormonde.

Applications must be submitted on form Z83, obtainable from any public service department or from the website, which must be completed in full.

A certified copy of your identity document and qualifications must be attached. The specific reference number of the post must be quoted; failure to comply with these instructions will disqualify applications from being processed. Faxed or e-mailed applications will not be accepted.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the large number of applications we envisage to receive, applications will not be acknowledged. If you do not receive any response by 15 October 2021 please accept that your application was unsuccessful.

Persons writing examinations in their respective tertiary institutions, persons who have taken severance voluntary packages and those employed elsewhere on a part time capacity may NOT apply and will not be considered.
