Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS) Youth Employment Service (YES) Programme 2026/2027

South Africa continues to face one of its greatest challenges—youth unemployment. According to recent statistics, the unemployment rate among young people aged 15–34 years was 45,5% in the first quarter of 2024, far higher than the national average of 32,9%. This stark reality highlights the urgent need for initiatives that open doors for young professionals to gain workplace experience and secure meaningful employment.

One such initiative is the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS) Youth Employment Service (YES) Programme 2026, a powerful platform for unemployed graduates to gain valuable experience, enhance their employability, and build strong foundations for their careers.

What is the GIBS YES Programme?

The GIBS YES Programme is a 12-month, full-time work experience opportunity running from January 2026 to January 2027.
