Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

Qualifications

  • An undergraduate qualification at NQF Level 6 recognised by SAQA in one of the following:
    • Operations Management
    • Public Management / Administration
    • Business Administration / Management
    • Financial Accounting
    • Finance

Experience

  • Minimum two (2) years functional experience in:
    • Client services environment, OR
    • Claims processing environment, OR
    • Insurance environment

Knowledge Requirements

Applicants must demonstrate understanding of:

  • Unemployment Insurance Act (UIA) and Regulations
  • Unemployment Insurance Contributions Act (UICA)
  • Department of Employment and Labour and UIF policies and procedures
  • Operational systems used for UIF administration
  • Batho Pele Principles
  • Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA)
  • Public Financial Management Act (PFMA)
  • Treasury Regulations
