The Battery Based Domestic Energy System Mounters programme is designed to prepare learners for real-world work in solar and battery installations.

• Maintain and service Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)

Minimum Entry Requirements
To apply for the programme, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Electrical Infrastructure Construction (EIC) Level 4 with a minimum pass of 75% in Electrical Systems and Construction and Electrical Principles and Practice
OR
- Electrical Engineering N6 qualification with at least 65% in Electrotechnics
Additional requirements include:
- Must have been a student at Ehlanzeni TVET College
• Must not have previously benefited from a SETA learnership, internship, or training programme
• Must be between 18 and 35 years old
• Must be currently unemployed
