Job Description
- Interns will be tasked with a range of responsibilities, including:
- Providing support with internal and external communication
- Assisting in the creation and curation of content for social media, newsletters, and the company website.
- Supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of events, campaigns, and exhibitions to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.
- Conducting research to support communication initiatives, campaigns, and stakeholder engagement.
- Assisting with media monitoring, clipping, and compiling reports on coverage and trends.
- Maintaining and updating content calendars for various platforms.
- Supporting the development of presentations, reports, and other communication materials.
- Assisting in capturing and organizing photographs and multimedia content for internal and external use.
- Providing administrative support to the communications team, including minute-taking
Job Requirements
- Be a South African citizen.
- Have completed Grade 12 (matric).
- A bachelor’s degree/National Diploma in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Media Studies, Graphic Design.
- Basic computer literacy
- Not be permanently employed
- Not have previously participated in an internship programme
