About the Opportunity

South Africa continues to face high youth unemployment, particularly among TVET graduates who often struggle to secure workplace experience after completing their studies. This internship programme has been developed specifically to address that challenge.

Through the collaboration between W&RSETA and Sekhukhune TVET College, successful applicants will spend 18 months gaining practical workplace experience in recognised retail organisations.

Unlike classroom learning, this internship allows participants to apply what they have learned in real business environments. Interns will interact with customers, support business operations, learn workplace professionalism, and develop skills that employers value.

By the end of the programme, participants will have significantly improved their employability and practical experience.
