The Motheo Academy is proud to announce exciting opportunities for aspiring artisans to pursue a full-time, three-year Occupational Certificate qualification in Carpentry (Red Seal). This apprenticeship programme aims to develop skilled artisans equipped with both theoretical knowledge and practical experience in carpentry and construction-related trades.
If you hold an N2 qualification in Carpentry, this is your chance to gain valuable industry-recognized skills while receiving a monthly stipend throughout the apprenticeship period. The programme provides hands-on exposure within the construction and built environment industries, ensuring that learners are work-ready upon completion.
Requirements to Qualify for This Opportunity
Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for the apprenticeship:
- Hold a Certified Grade 12 Certificate with Mathematics and English (certified within the last 3 months)
- Possess a Certified N2 Qualification in Carpentry (certified within the last 3 months)
- Submit a clear certified copy of their ID (certified within the last 3 months)
- Include a detailed CV outlining personal, educational, and contact information
- Be 35 years old or younger
- Show willingness to travel within the Gauteng region when required
- Be a South African citizen
- Reside in the Gauteng region
- Be willing to work in the construction or built environment industries for the duration of the apprenticeship
