About the Programme
The YES Learnership Programme is conducted in partnership with Youth Employment Services (YES), a national initiative that empowers South African youth by bridging the gap between education and the workplace. Successful candidates will be placed across different departments within Momentum Investments and will receive a monthly stipend for the duration of the 12-month programme.
Learners will gain exposure to real business environments in areas such as:
- Human Resources
- Finance and Accounting
- Marketing and Client Services
- Operations
- IT, Data, and Analytics
- Investment Management
Through mentorship, coaching, and practical experience, participants will build competencies in communication, teamwork, and problem-solving—equipping them for long-term career success.
Requirements
To qualify for this opportunity, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- South African citizens, aged between 18 and 25.
- Must be unemployed at the time of application.
- Must be first-time participants in the YES Programme.
- Relevant Bachelor’s degree, Diploma, or Certificate in one of the following fields:
- Finance, Accounting, Tax, Audit
- IT, Information Science, Data & AI, Python/SQL, Business Intelligence
- Data Analytics, Data Science, Business Analysis, Project Management
- Investment Management
- LLB
- Learning & Development, Skills Development, HR, Industrial Psychology
- Basic ability to use MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint effectively.
Duties & Responsibilities
Successful learners will be expected to:
- Gain practical exposure within Momentum Investments in their designated departments.
- Demonstrate eagerness to learn, adaptability, and the ability to take initiative.
- Apply feedback and continuously improve performance.
