This 12-month training programme is specifically designed for youth under the age of 29 who hold a National Diploma or Degree in any field, and are seeking practical exposure in a structured, professional environment.
Programme Overview
John Thompson, a leader in energy and environmental solutions, is inviting applications for 10 Experiential Training posts split across two critical roles:
- 5x Logistics Officers (Experiential Training)
- 5x Clearing & Forwarding Officers (Experiential Training)
These positions offer young professionals the chance to develop their skills in real working environments, understand the inner workings of industrial operations, and position themselves for future employment in high-demand sectors.
Location & Duration
While the programme will serve areas in Mpumalanga, Limpopo, and the Free State, the training will be Gauteng-based, providing participants with the benefit of structured, centralized exposure to a diverse and dynamic business setting.
- Duration: 12 Months (Full-Time)
- Base: Gauteng
Who Can Apply?
John Thompson is looking to empower unemployed youth under 29 years of age who meet the following criteria:
- Qualification: A National Diploma or Degree in any field.
- Residency Preference: Applicants must preferably be residents of Gauteng, but originally from one of the following Local Municipalities:
- Steve Tshwete
- Msukaligwa
- eMalahleni
- Dipaleseng
- Pixley Ka Isaka Seme
- Lekwa
- Lephalale
- Metsimaholo
This residency preference reflects John Thompson’s commitment to contributing to the upliftment of young talent from historically underserved municipalities.
