This initiative offers young South African graduates a golden opportunity to gain workplace experience in key municipal departments, including Public Relations, Library Services, Community Development, and Civil Engineering/Building.

Internship Fields on Offer
Successful candidates will be placed in various departments within the Mandeni Local Municipality and will benefit from hands-on mentorship and structured training. The internships include the following fields:
- Public Relations (X5 Posts): Interns will assist in maintaining communication between the municipality and the public, manage media relations, and support community engagement campaigns.
- Library Services (X10 Posts): This placement is ideal for those with a passion for literacy, as interns will help manage community libraries, promote reading programmes, and support digital information services.
- Community Development (X5 Posts): Interns in this stream will engage with local communities, assist in implementing developmental initiatives, and support programmes focused on youth, women, and vulnerable groups.
- Civil Engineering/Building (X6 Posts): Graduates in engineering and construction fields will gain hands-on experience in municipal infrastructure projects, planning, and building inspections.
