WHAT IS THE LNW GRADUATE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME?
The Lepelle Northern Water Graduate Internship Programme is a structured work experience initiative aimed at nurturing recent graduates in various fields aligned with the water and sanitation sector. The programme spans 24 months, depending on the discipline, and is crafted to provide real-world exposure to technical, operational, and corporate environments within the water utility.
The primary objective is to empower young South Africans by equipping them with practical skills, professional mentorship, and the necessary experience to boost their employability and readiness for full-time careers.
WHO CAN APPLY?
LNW seeks dynamic, hardworking, and eager-to-learn individuals who have completed a National Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, or Postgraduate Qualification in relevant study areas, including but not limited to:
- Civil Engineering
- Water and Sanitation Management
- Environmental Science
- Human Resource Management
- Finance and Accounting
- Supply Chain Management
- Public Relations and Communication
- Legal and Compliance
- Information Technology
- Research and Development
- Records Management
- Monitoring and Evaluation
Applicants must be South African citizens aged 18–35 years, unemployed, and not previously participated in an internship programme. Preference is often given to residents of Limpopo and graduates from TVET colleges and universities.
