Are you a recent graduate passionate about logistics, agriculture, or operations management? The AgriSETA Supply Chain Management Internship Programme offers a transformative opportunity to step into the world of agricultural supply chains—one of South Africa’s most vital economic sectors.

AgriSETA (Agricultural Sector Education and Training Authority) is dedicated to developing skills in the agricultural sector by funding quality training programmes. Through its Supply Chain Management Internship, AgriSETA partners with accredited host employers across the country to give unemployed graduates hands-on, work-integrated experience in procurement, inventory control, logistics coordination, and supplier relationship management.

POSTS: SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT INTERNS X2

• Period: 24 Months
• Ref: AgriS0801
• Location: Head Office, Pretoria – Arcadia

This internship runs for 24 months, during which participants gain practical exposure to how products move from farm to market—covering every link in the supply chain. Interns are mentored by industry professionals and work on real-time projects, building competence in key areas such as:

• Procurement & sourcing strategies
• Warehouse and stock management
• Agricultural input and output logistics
• Regulatory compliance and sustainability
• ERP systems and reporting tools

 

 

WHO CAN APPLY?

To qualify, applicants need to meet the following criteria:

• NQF 6 Supply Chain Management / Logistics/ or equivalent,
• Grade 12,
• No work experience in Supply Chain required.
• No experience
• Basic Computer literate (Microsoft Word and Excel)
• Attention to detail
• Team player
