  1. UNISA RADIO – Communication Division (Journalism)

Key Responsibilities: Content gathering, script writing, radio journalism, and assisting in production.

Qualification Required:

  • National Diploma or Degree in Journalism or Media Studies
  1. UNISA RADIO – Communication Division (Broadcast Assistant)

Key Responsibilities: Supporting studio operations, managing equipment, assisting with programming and live broadcasts.

Qualification Required:

  • National Diploma or Degree in Audio Technology, Sound Engineering, Radio Production, or Broadcasting
  1. Institutional Advancement: Communication, Marketing & Events (Web Graphic Design)

Key Responsibilities: Web content design, UI/UX layouts, banner creation, and brand-aligned visuals for digital platforms.

Qualification Required:

  • National Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, or Multimedia Design
  • Proficiency in Adobe Suite, Canva, or other graphic design tools is essential.
  1. Institutional Advancement: Communication, Marketing & Events (Social Media)

Key Responsibilities: Social media content creation, analytics monitoring, campaign support, and visual content production.

Qualification Required:

  • National Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communication, or Digital Media
  • Skills in Graphic Design Software and basic Social Media Management are required.

 

 

  1. Institutional Advancement: Communication, Marketing & Events (Events Management)

Key Responsibilities: Assisting in planning and executing events, logistics coordination, and stakeholder liaison.

Qualification Required:

  • National Diploma or Degree in Events Management, Public Relations, or Hospitality Management
  1. Institutional Advancement: CME (Marketing)

Key Responsibilities: Supporting marketing campaigns, promotional material creation, and marketing data analysis.

Qualification Required:

  • National Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Brand Management, or Business Administration
  1. Institutional Advancement: CME (Communication)

Key Responsibilities: Drafting press releases, internal communications, campaign messaging, and liaising with media.

Qualification Required:

  • National Diploma or Degree in Communication, Media Studies, or Corporate Communication

 

 

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered, candidates must:

  • Unemployed South African Citizens who have completed a UNISA qualification. which is equivalent to NQF level 6 and above.
  • With no formal work experience in the field of application.
  • Applicants who were previously appointed at UNISA or any other organization will not be considered.
  • The position reference and your UNISA student number must be accurately indicated on the portal.
  • Applications for multiple positions must be submitted individually.
  • Age restriction: not older than 35 years.
  • Applicants must be UNISA graduates in the required field(s) of study.
