The City of Joburg’s Department of Human Settlements invites suitably qualified applicants to apply for their Permanent General Worker Vacancies. The closing date for applications is the 7th November 2023

POSTS: GENERAL WORKERS (PERMANENT)

• REMUNERATION: R9 531,54 pm (basic salary, excluding benefits)
• LOCATION: Region A, C, D, E, F, G

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 10/NQF level 2 is required;
• 6 months relevant experience; and
• General housekeeping and basic cleaning skills

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

To ensure the effective cleaning of the premises taking into account all company requirements for health and safety.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

• Maintain the cleanliness of designated areas;
• Maintain the refuse removal of designated areas;
• Maintain the cleanliness of equipment and material management;
• Executing specific manual tasks.
