The Western Cape Department of Health and Wellness invites suitably qualified applicants to apply for their Linen Stores Assistant Vacancies (X9 Posts). The closing date for applications is the 12th July 2024

POST 22/206: LINEN STORES ASSISTANT (9 POSTS)

  • Salary: R131 265 per annum
  • Centre: Head Office, Cape Town

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Basic numeracy and literacy.
  • Appropriate laundry experience.
  • Inherent requirement of the job: Physically fit to do manual labour.

DUTIES:

  • Load/offload soiled/clean linen bags on and off trucks.
  • Pack shelves in linen bank and packing of Linen for despatching.
  • Empty soiled linen bags.
  • Sort and count linen.
  • Load and offload trolleys and push trolleys.
  • Load linen bags on conveyer belt and on overhead rails.
  • Clean work area
