Ekurhuleni West TVET College (EWC) has once again demonstrated its commitment to student success and employability through an exciting partnership with the Education, Training and Development Practices Sector Education and Training Authority (ETDP SETA). This collaboration offers an internship programme designed to equip graduates with much-needed workplace experience while boosting their chances of long-term employment.
PROGRAMMES:
- Marketing Management – 24 Months
- Financial Management – 24 Months
- Labour Relations – 24 Months
- Office Administration – 24 Months
This initiative targets graduates from various fields—including office administration, Marketing Management, Financial Management and Labour Relations —who have completed their theoretical training but require practical exposure. The programme aligns with ETDP SETA’s vision of developing and transforming the skills base within the education and training sector in South Africa.
Interns placed through this collaboration are deployed within departments across Ekurhuleni West TVET College campuses, including Germiston, Boksburg, Kathorus, Kempton, Tembisa, and Alberton. Each intern benefits from structured mentorship, professional development workshops, and monthly stipends, which support them financially during the programme.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree / Diploma in Marketing
- Degree in Financial Management
- Diploma in Labour Relations
- Office Administration NC (V) Level 4
This internship programme is not only a significant opportunity for recent graduates to build their CVs but also serves to bridge the gap between education and employment, which remains a challenge for many South African youth.
