Job Overview: Driver’s Licensing Cashier
As a Driver’s Licensing Cashier, you will be the frontline representative at the licensing department, providing essential services related to payments, renewals, and queries. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate processing of transactions and delivering courteous customer service to residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle cash and card payments for driver’s licence applications and renewals.
- Issue receipts and maintain accurate transaction records.
- Verify documents submitted by applicants.
- Provide assistance and information to members of the public.
- Reconcile daily takings and report any discrepancies to supervisors.
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent (NQF 4).
- Grade F Examiner of Licences Certificate.
- Registered with the Department of Transport as an Examiner of Drivers Licence
- Experience in Electronic National Traffic Information System (eNatis).
- 1 – 2 years of experience in the related field.
- Ability to communicate in IsiZulu and English.
- Code B or EB Drivers Licence
