OUR SCHOOL:

Reddam House Waterfall is a co-educational and non-denominational environment designed to recognise, nurture and develop the individuality of each student placed in our care and to extend students to their maximum potential in all aspects of education.

Our teachers understand the need not only for the importance of teaching the required curriculum, but also for forming a relationship with your child, a relationship that is built on trust and mutual respect. The school’s architecture is perfectly suited to the rustic environment it finds itself in, with wood and stone-clad walls. ROLE SUMMARY:

We are looking for a warm, dedicated and professionally minded teacher to join our Early Learning School team. If you are passionate about early childhood education and committed to providing rich, meaningful learning experiences within the Inspired Education Group framework, we would love to hear from you. Experience of the Reggio Emilia approach would be an advantage.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• As an Early Learning teacher at Reddam House Waterfall, you will work with children aged two to six years old.
• You will plan and facilitate engaging learning experiences, support children holistically across their daily routines, and maintain a stimulating, safe and nurturing environment. 
• You will document children’s progress through Arc Pathways, build positive relationships with families, contribute to school events and duties, and work closely with your Stage Head, teaching assistants and the wider ELS team.
• Participation in school events, duties and the aftercare Adventure Zone programme

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• A recognised ECD qualification, or substantial relevant experience
• Current SACE registration (if applicable)
• The legal right to live and work in South Africa
• A genuine passion for working with young children
• Strong communication, planning and organisational skills
• A collaborative, reflective and growth-oriented approach to teaching 
• The physical readiness to meet the full demands of an early years classroom, including floor-level play, lifting and outdoor supervision 
• A genuine commitment to child safeguarding
