What will you be doing?

• Assist in implementing and monitoring Health & Safety policies, procedures, and standards.
• Conduct workplace inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits.
• Support incident investigations and the implementation of corrective and preventative actions.
• Maintain Health & Safety records, reports, and compliance documentation.
• Assist with health & safety training.
• Monitor compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and company policies.
• Participate in emergency preparedness activities and safety committee meetings.

Essential skills and competence

• Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety legislation and safety management principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

Entry:

• Grade 12
• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Safety Management

Programme:

• Perform all tasks communicated and required
• Required to work a 5-day week & overtime as required
