What will you be doing?
We have an exciting learning opportunity for a Learning & Development graduate, which will include exposure, understanding and application of the following:
- LD administration and systems (e.g. Payspace, Moodle, LMS, GP)
- LD process understanding and application (e.g. Training, SETAs, Busaries)
- Payment process for vendors, training providers, and internal stakeholders
- Accurate and up-to-date training records on the learning database
- Talent Development support (travel bookings, catering, facilitation, logbooks)
- Time management, planning, organising, teamwork and conflict management
Essential skills and competence
- MS Office, especially Excel
- Adaptive and open to respond to change
- Learning aptitude
- Able to cope with pressures and setbacks
- Results orientation
- Analytical thinking
- Time management & deadline orientated
- Team player with open communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to critically evaluate information, especially when working with numbers
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Completed a Diploma/ Degree in: Industrial Psychology/ Human Resource Management and related fields
- Driver’s license (advantageous)
Programme Information
- This is a 12-month graduate programme based at our Corporate Office, working across the regions reporting to the Manager: LD Program & Projects
- Will at times support the national learning & development structure in rolling out of specific projects / tasks.
- May be required to travel to other sites for exposure to all business units
