MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To coordinate and prepare patients/clients for Global EMS transportation. This includes Primary and IFT activations e.g... Hems, Fixed Wing, Wing to Wing and Commercial flight activations. The services provided by ER24 is a global service hence activations will be within South Africa, African Continent and internationally (Global).

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

• To coordinate the Helicopter Emergency Medical Services (HEMS) and Fixed Wing dispatch
• To provide basic flight desk administration

REQUIRED EDUCATION

Essential: Grade 12

Desired: BAA/ Level 3 firstaid

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Essential: Global Assistance International experience

Desired: Minimum 1-year Global Assistance International Agent/ Tourism Industry Experience

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Sound knowledge and competence in the Global dispatch Systems
• EMS environment
• Demonstrate a basic knowledge and application of Emergency Care inclusive of international patient care
• Telephonic and email etiquette
• Competence in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
• Demonstrate sound knowledge of tourism industry, global geographical locations and time zones
• Global currencies (Dollar, Euro, Rupee)
• Aeromedical services
• International patient management
• Medical concierge services
• Medical case management
• Cost containment
