Why This Internship Matters

South Africa continues to strengthen laws and policies that promote disability rights and inclusion. However, there is still a shortage of skilled professionals who genuinely understand the needs of Persons with Disabilities.

This internship builds:

  • Experience in social development
  • Exposure to disability programmes
  • Authority within local government structures
  • Practical skills that employers value
  • Trust through public service engagement

Employers always prefer candidates with hands-on experience, especially in government and community-focused roles. This internship bridges the gap between theory and real-world practice.
